I am really digging a new project by a band called Time Travel. Time Travel consists of Matt Walsh of The Forms on drums and machines, and Travis Morrison of Dismemberment Plan on bass and vocals. So far I’ve only heard the one mp3 (listen above), but the concoction of heavy, up-tempo beats, synthy melodies, and staccato feel creates a sound that is equal parts dancy and kind of dark. No word on when our ears will get a load of a full record or when our eyes will feast on a live gig, but I fuggin’ hope it’s sometime soon.
